Can I call and order ahead?

- Yes. Just give us a call before you head over to the mill and we can have your items all ready for pick up.

 

What are the prices?

How many boards do I need to do my garage or house?

- Often times people will want to know how many pieces of X product they will need to finish the project they are working on. Just calculate the square feet and we can give you the correct amount of material you will need and the price.

What grades of lumber do you sell?

- We sell everything from Economy to Premium. 

 

What are the definitions of lumber grades?

- 

Premium – almost all sound tight knots -

minimal amounts of; soft knots, wane, surface

rot, and no holes. All dimensions + or - 1/16”.

 

1-Face – same as premium grade on one face

of the board. The other face of the board may

have multiple soft knots, wane on the edges,

¼” strips of surface rot, and no holes. All

dimensions + or - 1/16”.

 

Standard – all sides may have wane, ¼” strips

of surface rot, soft knots, potential for loss of

soft knots, may have small holes. All

dimensions + or - 1/16”.

 

Economy - Very rustic, multiple defects, no

limit on the amount of; wane, surface rot, or

holes.
